UC Merced Student Housing: Phase III
The LEED-certified Gold project consists of three resident halls; The Summits, Tenava Hall and Cathedral Hall. At a final square-footage of 95,000, housing 320 students, this project was a challenging one due to the tight access and the need to construct it during school hours. Due to this, Boneso Brothers needed to coordinate access between other contractors and needed to take into account the surrounding facilities and people. In addition to installing the work with accommodations on the construction site, BIM clash detection was utilized to ensure all aspects of the project were cohesively planned. Boneso performed all of the plumbing and HVAC scopes of work for this project.
